About the Role…

End to End Supply Chain Management :

  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand and supply planning, logistics operations, repacking operation, customer service and SHE to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders (including Commercial team, Finance team, procurement team etc) to drive a productive and efficient business environment.
  • Develop and support a team of supply chain professionals, fostering their growth and effective communication.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Conceptualize and operationalize strategies that increase speed, flexibility, and agility across the value chain.
  • Strive for operations excellence and continuous productivity improvement on the daily operations and workflow management of the supply chain.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements etc.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties related to supply chain management, such as vendor management, contract negotiations, risk management, and other strategic initiatives.

Planning: 

  • Lead sourcing strategy including strategic and tactical sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure Innovation project landed on time in full.
  • Accountable for the delivery of Dispatch rate and CCFOT 
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management strategies to meet DOH target, including inventory optimization, safety stock management, and inventory control process.
  • Drive Business waste analysis and reduction.
  • Manages demand planning processes in conjunction with Customer Business Development, Marketing, Finance and related functions within Supply Chain
  • Lead the development and facilitates the deployment of new capabilities in the area Demand and Supply Planning 
  • Negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods, optimizing transportation routes, and reducing costs.

Customer Service:

  • Manage Order to cash (O2C) process including audit control point.
  • Drive cash target delivery e.g. Overdue%
  • Review internal/external customer feedback & operation issue to develop prompt and effective action plan. 
  • Drive collaboration program with customers to achieve operational excellence. 
  • Manage and enforce discipline as regards policies and procedures

Logistic & Repacking:

  • Drive end to end innovation project to maximize the operation efficiency.
  • Prepare transportation and warehousing costs budgets and ensure the expenses are within annual budget.
  • Support End to End cost analysis and develop improvement plan.
  • Effectively manage 3PL relationships / performance in both logistics and Repacking, with KPI and benchmarking
  • Work with Global Procurement on the inbound freight rate to ensure local requirement is met.

Safety, Health and Environment (SHE):

  • Deploy and monitor the implementation of SHE strategies, policies and guidelines and control mechanism for the compliance of local regulatory and Unilever requirements.
  • Develop mechanism to conduct the workplace inspection and investigation to identify and reduce potential hazards. 
  • Provide training and education to Company personnel regarding safety requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure health and safety considerations are integrated into business operation / related events.

About the Person…

  • Proven experience in supply chain management
  • Experience in FMCG industry is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business & operational acumen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Solid people management skills
  • Ability to deal with 3rd parties
