JOB PURPOSE
The Site (Factory / Sourcing Unit) Quality role supports the implementation of Unilever specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) for quality assurance and controls in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. This key Quality role ensures systems are in place to comply with local regulatory requirements and drives site Quality improvement activities to ensure product consumer safety & overall quality and address consumer / customer issues.
Reports through Site Quality Specialist to Manufacturing Quality Lead (Works Director / Supply Leader / Site Leader).
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Monitoring and reporting of Quality KPI (Weekly/Monthly reports)
Meetings- (Weekly Ops meeting, Daily review mtgs)
Verifies compliance to testing plan
Machine audits and CLIT reporting/escalation
Reporting DVOC insights to the factory team
Consumer/Customer complaint investigation and CAPA reporting
Non-conformance management and continuous improvement support
Retention sample monitoring program
Prepares local procedures and work instructions for site quality
Conduct training for the Quality & Factory team
Supervise export loading & prepares COA
Conducts traceability exercise and drives gap closure
Ensure traceability requirements are implemented
Supports the plants internal audit program
HACCP verification
Support innovations/renovations (trials, Creation of inspection plan)
Process audit
PQS assessments
Quality One D-incident Module champion
Change Management (e-MOC) compliance monitoring
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Minimum HND/BSc. in science related field preferably Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, microbiology etc.
Minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing process
Skills
Excellent leadership ability and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on many tasks at the same time while keeping excellent organizational skills.
Very strong computer skills.
Strong communicator (both oral & written).
Highly motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated commitment to achieving organizational and personal goals.
Proven ability to work well in a team environment (co-workers, suppliers, etc.).
