(Senior) Manager – Retail Alliances

Reports to: Commercial Director Europe

JOB PURPOSE:

The Ice Cream Retail Alliances (Senior) Manager is the driving force behind fostering and expanding strategic partnerships with top European retail alliances. Your role will involve nurturing the relationship with the alliances, support negotiations and ensuring their seamless delivery, boosting growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role supports the commercial relationships and negotiations with the European Retail Alliances (ERAs): Agecore, Epic, Coopernic, EMD, GRS.

Within this scope, you’ll need to:

  • Coordinate contracts implementation in all European markets

  • Execute the contract with all local KAMs

  •    Implement a sustainable and efficient way of working with our stakeholders

  •   Support negotiations with ERAs on behalf of the Ice Cream business through coordination, pre-negotiation alignment, data analysis, and deal breakdown.

  • Aid the coordination, governance and issue resolution across European markets and customers

  • Create an MEL framework to dissect deal results and improve future negotiations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of sales, business development or retailer account management background at a cross-country level

  • Experience in negotiation in big continental EU markets (France, Germany, Netherlands)

  • Strong understanding of the European Retailer landscape (cross country CD experience in EU or Global CD)

Skills:

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Strong personal mastery and stress management

  • Great communication and influencing skills

  • Networking ability

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to bring structure

  • Analytical and numerically strong

  • Professional English is required; French knowledge is desirable
