Commercial Finance Analyst

Background & Main Job Purpose

This role is responsible for Commercial Finance Activities covering: Trade Terms controls and analytics, Leverage Europe FET to take insights and propose actions on S&OP and BMI areas for specific category. Partnering with Marketing/Customer Strategy and Planning and Customer Development functions is key. Role sits at the heart of the commercial decision-making process to develop plans and actions together with the business to realize the strategy and in-year plans.

Main Accountabilities

• Perform rebate analysis and accrual calculations – in line with compliance requirements- and be a co-pilot to the commercial teams
• Support with analysis & insights to impact commercial decision making (CD/CSP)
• Drive performance analysis and interventions for delivery of in-year financial targets for key categories
• Support the delivery and monitoring of pricing initiatives
• Support the Sales and Operational Planning Process (S&OP) and BMI controls for respective categories fully leveraging Europe FET
• Bring curiosity to drive progress and financial improvements in several areas (i.e. process simplification and standardization) 
• Own and continuously improve the Trade Terms Controls process
• Perform standard sales controls including accrual and provision reviews and aged deductions
• Work together with the Order to Cash team to make sure transactional issues and audit claims are resolved
• Overdue management for respective customers together with Credit Controller
• Work closely with Audit teams (internal/external) regarding TMI controls and postings

Preferred Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial finance roles with direct in-market exposure.
• Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, balance sheet oversight, and financial control within target markets.
• Fluent in Greek and English

• Strong analytical skills and high financial acumen.
• Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner.
• Ability to leverage and implement automated solutions and reports for commercial teams.
• High ethical standards.
