Data and Tech

Data and Tech is one of our largest entities in Unilever with significant overheads and capital spend. It plays a vital role in powering Unilever to win and is the delivery engine for digitization. This enables the organization to grow and generate much needed Fuel for Growth.

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Main FBP responsibilities will include:

a. Being the Strategic finance lead for one of tech and data pillars and other pillars within Digital and Tech.
i. Be part of a Leadership team, creating and monitoring strategy
ii. Maintain strong relationship and network across the finance team, in order to be the point of contact for the business product/foundation teams.
iii. Responsible for the full spend and value delivery across operating spend and capital investment
b. Partnering end to end value interventions:
i. Business case preparation, scenario modelling & evaluation through to implementation
ii. Rigorous and challenging scrutiny over costs and benefits, and interventions on project performance
c. Financial involvement in major contract negotiations / development with 3rd parties
d. Supporting communication and change management of major initiatives through clusters & functions

Experience and qualifications:
• Cross-functional stakeholder relationship management and ability to influence a large and complex set of stakeholders and make an impact on decision making
• Ability to operate in a highly focused, entrepreneurial environment
• Business case modelling in a complex environment
• Experience with identifying risks and opportunities
• Leading and managing teams of varying sizes and levels across different geographical locations
• Qualified accountant or equivalent
• A genuine interest in tech and digital advancements
• Desirable to have experience working within Data and Tech
