About the Role
This role oversees end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations with a focus on PR-to-PO management, supplier coordination, helpdesk support, and system optimization. The position requires strong expertise in COUPA and procurement processes, along with governance and PMO capabilities to ensure compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee PR-to-PO, helpdesk, and automated buying operations managed by the service provider.
Ensure timely order fulfilment, accurate requisition processing, and resolution of procurement issues.
Enforce procurement policies, controls, and compliance standards across all service lines.
Support audits (Corporate, GCAD, SOX, Statutory) and ensure timely closure.
System & Technical Expertise (COUPA)
Act as COUPA subject matter expert for issue resolution and user support.
Drive system enhancements, configurations, and testing for efficiency and automation.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements proactively.
Helpdesk & User Support
Oversee procurement helpdesk operations ensuring timely query resolution.
Develop SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials to improve user adoption.
Maintain high customer satisfaction scores for helpdesk services.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and mentor the operations team for day-to-day procurement activities.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Business Units for seamless S2P operations.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLAs are consistently met.
PMO & Governance
Develop and maintain project plans for PR-to-PO initiatives ensuring timely delivery.
Track KPIs (cycle time, compliance, cost savings, user satisfaction) and publish monthly reports.
Prepare leadership dashboards and presentations for performance reviews.
Identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
Drive transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; MBA, Chartered Accountant, or Procurement Certification (CIPS/ISM) preferred.
Experience:
8+ years in S2P/Procurement operations, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
Proven expertise in order fulfilment, helpdesk management, and vendor/stakeholder engagement.
Technical Expertise:
Strong functional and technical knowledge of COUPA (P2P, Invoicing, Supplier Portal, Analytics, Configurations).
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and procurement automation.
Core Skills:
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on process improvement.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to drive governance, compliance, and PMO reporting for procurement initiatives.
