FUNCTION AND SERVICE LINE INTRODUCTION
In this role you will work as part of the Global Supply Chain Finance Services (SCFS) team at Unilever.
At SCFS we aim to “create value through continuous global impact on the financial results of Unilever” and we live a strong purpose “inspired to make an impact”.
Our operational scope includes costing, accounting, reporting and controlling activities within the domain of Supply Chain Finance.
We work in a dynamic environment with significant change in ways of working resulting from continuous improvement projects, automated/robotised solutions, data driven insights.
With our ambitious continuous improvement and new scope agenda, we are focusing on different aspects. Redesigning the global process models, process optimizations by utilizing third party service provider and technology solutions, lead and own the design of global/regional projects. Ensure compliance in financial controls and develop solutions to drive analytics and insights.
SCFS activities are delivered from locations across 3 continents – Europe (Poland), Americas (Mexico) and Asia (India).
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the SCFS Automation and Information lead you will enable thestrategy and purpose of SCFS by fully maximizing the potential of technology. You will play a key role in driving the digital strategy and agenda
And you will work together with stakeholders, process experts and technology experts located all over the world to achieve that.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Globalcooperation with Business Stakeholders, Operating Centers Finance experts, software developers, and external parties to automate financial
analytics and reporting. Meeting data quality demands and challenging savings targets.
Day-to-day management and maintenance of Automation & Information BAU support for existing deployed solutions in Global SCFS Reporting. (MEC,Purchase Price Variance, Costing,Scorecard,PerformanceMgmt etc.)
Manage the lifecycle of legacy in-house tools.
Challenge the status quo and identifying solutions for more efficient ways of working by leveraging technology
Propose technical solutions, dive into detail and understand the root of the problem, and demonstrate ownership until the full solution is implemented
Build E2E technical solutions on our SCFS servers by applying your coding skillls
Responsible for managing and delivering projects end to end, from feasibility to implementation and deployment
Playing an active role in establishing and safeguarding the technology standards and framework across the global team
Working at the core processes of Unilever directly impacting financial results
Working within a team of process experts and x developers, learning and challenging your peers to grow as team
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Experience & Qualifications
Technologies: Python, Jenkins, Git, PowerBi, MSSQL, SAP, CSharp
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, Cloud Architect
SKILLS –
Computer Science/Information technology degree or equivalent qualification
At least 5 years of experience as developer using C#, python and SQL
At least 5 years of experience with databases (preferable Microsoft SQL server)
Fluent English communication skills, verbal & written
Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities consistent with the organizations’ goals and objectives
Knowledge of SAP
Software and Cloud Architectures
Excellent communication skills, and ability to work with peers and demonstrate vertical and lateral influence
