Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, program management, and digital transformation across Unilever’s warehousing and distribution network in India. This role combines technical expertise in warehouse operations and digital technologies with strong program management capabilities to deliver strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and innovation.

The incumbent will lead multi-site programs, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure alignment with global standards and strategic priorities while embedding a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption.

Key Accountabilities

Warehousing Processes

• Understanding basics of Supply chain.

• Understand different type of warehouses and warehousing operations (Inbound, Outbound, and internal processes)

• Supporting BAU for HUL warehouses.

• Support integration of advanced digital technologies — WMS, IoT, automation, robotics, and data analytics — for real-time visibility and data-driven decision-making.

• Assist in technical evaluation and implementation of automation solutions and digital tools.

• Ensure integration with SAP modules and enhancement in the existing process to meet business requirement.

• Participate in configuration, testing, and rollout of DC2.0 warehousing models to new sites.

• Understanding of warehouse network and hardware. 

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Supply Chain business and Technology teams to pilot and scale digital initiatives.

• Collaborate with Warehousing and IT teams across HUL.

• Provide training and support for effective platform utilization to ground teams.

• Track and report warehousing performance against key metrics and objectives.

• Cost Negotiation with business and SAP team

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy policies.

• End to end project management and strong governance. 

• Maintain SOP documentation for processes, configurations, and enhancements.

• Support governance for third-party vendors and adherence to milestones.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Program Support

• Assist in program management for warehousing excellence and digital transformation initiatives.

• Help maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.

• Support cross-functional collaboration between Supply Chain, Technology, and vendors.

• Monitor program performance and escalate issues as needed.

Essential Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in IT or supply chain systems.

• Understanding of warehousing operations and supply chain processes.

• Familiarity with WMS (SAP or equivalent) platforms.

• Basic knowledge of SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, WM).

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts and cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

• Strong Negotiation skills.
