Job Purpose

To support Unilever's Growth Action Plan 2030, we are hiring a Specification Writer for the Digital R&D team. This role is crucial for ensuring high data quality to drive innovation, renovation, Supply Chain support, and Demand Creation in SEA. The Specification Writer will work with Formulators, Packaging Developers, and TPLs to understand specification requirements and collaborate with Country R&D and Supply Chain to deliver projects on time. Collaboration with R&D and Supply Chain teams is essential for successful specification deliver that connect to BOM generation in projects.

Main Responsibilities

This role reports to B&W Specifications Manger in the Digital R&D organisation, with the main responsibilities:

• Support specification developments for B&W.
• Engage with Formulators and Packaging Developers to understand project requirements on specification developments.
• Create SAP Recipe in Plant level for LOS and HOS for Hair and Skincare Products across SEA.
• Workstream in RM/PM and Product Code Creation.
• Workstream in Specification Creation part in Innovation, Renovation, 5S, Supply Chain Support and Demand Creation (Promotion) Project Network.
• Monitor Data Quality for LOS/HOS and Support Data Cleansing.
• Work with Digital Team to innovate and improve the specification related tools for operational effectiveness.
• Provide technical support and training for SAP PLM to B&W R&D Team as SAP PLM superuser.

Candidate Criteria

Key Requirements

• Degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Experience in data management with MS 365 tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Strong people management and collaboration skills across cultural and functional teams.
• Excellent influencing and English communication skills.
• Digital savvy, proficient with quantitative tools and social media.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Team player; works closely with Digital R&D and key stakeholders.
• Embraces beauty mindsets.
• SAP PLM experience is a plus.
