JOB PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales growth through strategic planning, effective team leadership, and the development of key business partnerships. The role involves coordinating with sales teams to create mutually beneficial proposals, leading project teams to ensure successful execution of sales initiatives, and gathering valuable insights from customer and competitor data. Additionally, the role requires the creation and implementation of business processes and policies, tracking and reporting on sales performance, and providing continuous feedback to the sales team. The successful candidate will also review sales contracts for compliance and drive the end-to-end sales process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct high-level strategic plan / guidelines to develop effective sales solutions
- Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
- Lead and monitor project teams to ensure key projects that drive sales growth are executed as planned
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
- Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
- Track and report on the status of sales performance
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
- Drive the end-to-end sales process
Qualifications and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in key account management and modern trade.
- Expertise in developing and implementing customer/channel investment strategies.
- Proficient in managing teams, both direct and indirect reports.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passionate about winning with a growth mindset.
- Open-minded and adaptable to new succession planning.
- Ability to engage cross-functionally and influence effectively.
