We are looking forfragrance experts,with not only a passion for fragrance, but also a passion to create rewarding experiences for the consumers we serve, and in doing so make a positive difference to their lives.You will be working regionally, but be part of the Global FragranceCapability team at Unilever,working at the interface between our company and the Fragrance House suppliers to deliver excellence in all aspects of the perfumery of Home Care products.
Job Purpose:
You will work as the fragrance expert with a wide range of functions (marketing, R&D, Supply management, consumer insight etc) both regionally and globally involved inthe fragrance creation and selection aspects for our Brands,
Main Responsibilities:(dependent on experience and level)
Translate fragrance trends, consumer insights, and an in-depth understanding of our Brands in the marketsin which they exist, into fragrance briefs toinspire the best from Fragrance Houses.
Lead the briefand work closely with the Fragrance Houses,before making finalrecommendations to take through to market.
Continuously build Unilever’s internal global fragrance capability.
Work in close collaboration with the formulation teams to optimise fragrance delivery and improve value
All about you:
We are looking for people with the right experience, mindset and competencies. Experience of working in a Fragrance House is an added bonus, but not essential.
The job requires a high level of olfactive ability coupled with aninquisitive passion to understand consumerpreference in fragrance, being their voice in the creation of new fragrances.
High-level communication skills are vital to this role. Absolutely core is to be able to communicate with clarity and authority in the specialist area of fragrance description with the Fragrance Houses. Equally important is to communicate effectively from a position of expert knowledge with a wide range of UL colleagues: from senior Brand VPs, through global and regional project teams to CTI/CMI and Supply Management.
