Complete Ground level planning in PEB errections schedules and Monitor the quality of executions .
Monitor structural steel fabrication/erection (fit-up, welding, bolting, NDT, alignment).
Interface planning with MEP/utilities to avoid clashes; coordinate underground services and civil inserts/sleeves.
Lead daily toolbox meetings; plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements.
2) Green Building (Sustainability)
Implement sustainability goals (IGBC/LEED/GRIHA targets): site waste management, material submittals (recycled content, low-VOC), erosion/sedimentation control, heat island mitigation, and water/energy efficiency measures.
Maintain documentation for credits: delivery challans, product certificates, environmental declarations, and commissioning logs.
Support envelope performance, daylighting, and indoor air quality compliance during construction.
Coordinate third-party commissioning (Cx), blower door/airtightness tests (if applicable), and OPR/BOD alignment.
3) Water & Wastewater Treatment (WTP/WWTP/ETP/STP)
Execute civil works for intake structures, equalization tanks, clarifiers, aeration basins, MBR/SBR/ASP units, filter houses, chemical rooms, sludge handling, and associated pipe galleries/channels.
Coordinate with process/mechanical vendors on equipment foundation levels, anchor bolts, grout pockets, embed plates, and trench layouts.
Ensure waterproofing, crack control, leak testing (hydrostatic), joint treatment, and chemical resistance specifications.
Support process commissioning readiness: gravity flow levels, weirs, scum baffles, penstocks, and access/maintenance clearances.
Integrate rainwater harvesting/zero liquid discharge (ZLD) or reuse systems where applicable.
4) HSE & Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Enforce site HSE: PTW, WAH, LOTO, scaffolding, excavation shoring, confined space, lifting plans, and housekeeping.
Prepare ITPs/QAPs; ensure inspection hold points and third-party/NABL testing.
NCR/CAR management; root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Maintain safety/quality KPIs and incident reporting.
5) Planning, Contracts & Commercial
Provide inputs to project schedule (WBS), daily/weekly progress tracking, micro-planning, and look-aheads.
Joint measurements, DPR/MPR, reconciliation (cement, steel, concrete), and productivity tracking.
Support subcontractor management, rate analysis, RA bills, change orders/claims, and BOQ verifications.
6) Stakeholder & Statutory Coordination
Coordinate with client/PMC, consultants, vendors, utility agencies, local authorities, and auditors.
Assist in compliance with construction permits, environmental approvals, and factory/local body norms.
Attend progress/coordination meetings; present site status and risk/mitigation plans.
7) Documentation & Billing schedule
Maintain site logs, test records, pour cards, inspection reports, method statements, and as-built drawings.
Use BIM/3D models (if available) for clash detection/quantities; leverage digital tools for snagging, RFIs, and progress tracking.
Timely Verification of the site Billings to have right cash flow and maintaining all the data of the GRN and Billing Data .
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering .
Experience: 5–10 years (adjust range as needed) in industrial/commercial construction with at least one project involving water/wastewater treatment and one green building–certified or targeted project (IGBC/LEED/GRIHA).
Codes/Standards: Working knowledge of IS codes, NBC 2016, IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 3370 (liquid retaining), welding/NDT basics, relevant environmental and wastewater guidelines.
Tools: AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, BIM (Navisworks/Revit preferred), QA/QC digital tools, surveying (Total Station) basics.
Skills & Competencies
Strong site execution leadership and contractor management.
Reading/interpreting drawings, BBS, and shop drawings.
