Job Title: Sr Product Change Manager - PC BG

Background to the role:
The PC business is a >€14bn division comprised of small ‘c’ categories including Skin Cleansing, Deodorants and Oral Care.
With the Compass re-organization, the PC BG supply chain was re-wired for speed and agility, and will now further transform to a simpler, agile and more consumer-centric organization, leveraging project scale. Harnessing seamless collaboration with BU teams to create improved innovation execution, margin delivery, an efficient asset base and the capabilities to support PC intent through great people and technology. The category operates globally and will have a marketing leadership organized in 2 parts - North America and Rest of World.
The Product Change Manager will work in agile squads alongside the PC marketing and R&D organization, and in collaboration with BU SC, leading the SC work stream in implementing product changes across PC, designing agile, resilient supply chains for RM/PM and FG, considering effective costs, capex alignment and quality. This role will be largely connected with one of the 8 BG-led brands, but with full expectation of working across PC as the project loading requires. The role requires extensive knowledge of the supply chain configuration of one or more of the sub-categories, functional Excellence in innovation, and good knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes in PC.
This role is the ‘face and voice’ of the BG SC, ensuring supply chain is well represented to the cross functional leadership. This role requires senior level business engagement and stakeholder connection, as well as exceptional level of cross functional credibility and commercial acumen.
Key Accountabilities of this role:
Critical part of a dynamic BG-BU SC organization, working on numerous product change implementations across PC.
Business partnering with PC Innovation lead, BG brand leads, R&D and BU SC.
Accountability for delivery of SC workstream for assigned big-bet projects across PC. (Agile squads' composition is agreed by PCMLT at start decision moment). Represent and be the voice of SC in cross-functional agile squads. Provide SC inputs into project networks and be accountable for ensuring on track activities for SC work stream.
Manage interfaces within SC i.e. Quality, Procurement, Engineering for projects and bring in relevant experts from wider SC functions to deliver the project.
Skills:
This is a senior role, suitable for a high ability candidate looking to demonstrate capability to operate at next WL.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the PC supply chain required – ideally across more than one ‘small c’.
BU and SU experience preferred.
Considerable experience in senior stakeholder management, and cross functional leadership experience.
Thorough understanding of product change processes, finance and business acumen for supply chain.
Experience leading/working/collaborating with virtual teams and driving performance across a diverse mixture of cultures.
