About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic and curious individual to lead the Insights, Claims, and Content (ICC) agenda for a fast-growing global business in the Beauty & Personal Care space. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of consumer understanding, product science, and creative storytelling. You’ll be responsible for shaping how our products are perceived and experienced by consumers across the world—by translating deep insights into compelling product stories, claims, and experiences that resonate emotionally and scientifically.
What You’ll Do
1. Strategy & Innovation
- Lead the ICC roadmap for Beauty & Personal Care brands, aligning with global and regional priorities.
- Embed ICC thinking early in product development to ensure innovations are both consumer-relevant and scientifically credible.
2. Insight Mining & Translation
- Use digital tools, social listening, and market research to uncover insights across countries, categories, and consumer segments.
- Translate these insights into product narratives, claims, and experiences that are emotionally engaging and technically sound.
- Monitor competitors and provide actionable intelligence to guide brand strategies.
3. Product Experience Toolkits (PETs)
- Develop toolkits that help marketing teams bring product stories to life—especially for social media and digital-first platforms.
- Craft:
- Differentiated and credible product claims
- Science-backed demos and visuals
- Social-first content ideas for campaigns and PR
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams in R&D, Legal, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing to ensure ICC elements are seamlessly integrated into product and communication plans.
- Ensure all claims and experiences meet local regulatory standards and are backed by robust data (technical, clinical, consumer, sensory).
What We’re Looking For
Mindset & Skills
- Curious & Observant: Passion for consumer behaviour and psychology. Ability to spot trends and translate them into actionable insights.
- Digitally Native: Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, influencers and what content resonates with different audiences. Knowledge of Social Media algorithms to optimize for reach and conversion.
- Great Communicator: Strong storytelling skills—able to simplify complex ideas and adapt messaging for different audiences and formats. Prefer videos, infographics, and interactive content over text-heavy formats for communication.
- Analytical & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with data, digital tools, and generative AI. Able to visualize and present insights in compelling ways.
Experience & Education
- Relevant and Significant experience in Product Development/Brand Crafting/ Marketing /Content Creation/ Consumer Market Insight/Consumer Technical Insight.
- Experiences in product claims development or scientific communications is highly desirable.
- We’re open to diverse formal educational backgrounds. Degree in STEM or Marketing or Communications or Psychology, or Behavioural Science is however preferred.
