Job Purpose
Utility Supervisor is responsible for supporting factory efficiency by managing all utilities, including the boiler, water treatment, air and compressor systems, and facilities. This role ensures that production processes meet quality requirements, environmental compliance, and safety standards.
As a leader, Utility Supervisor is tasked with leading, training, and managing the subordinate team. This includes identifying development areas, analyzing root causes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
- Leading the team to manage the operation and reliability of boilers, water treatment systems, chillers, coolant systems, wastewater treatment systems, facility buildings, and other relevant utility systems
- Managing materials & stocks for machine spare parts and general use, ensuring control for project proposals and maintenance budgets
- Supervise law and procedure compliances, materials, time, cost, and manpower for preventive maintenance
- Lead sustainability projects across the site, achieving goals in terms of time, cost, safety, and quality without environmental impact.
- Develop, coach and mentor subordinates, focusing on their career progression.
- Monitoring and improving utility efficiency & maintenance cycle
- Drive, analyze and improve factory utility consumption to support cost saving and production efficiency and establish new solutions for consumption improvement across the site
Candidate Criteria
Skill & Qualification
- Knowledge on Boiler, Chiller and Wastewater treatment is a must
- Understanding control and programing system and be able to initiate improvement
- Understanding digitalization and utilities data analysis
- Good command of both written and spoken in English
- Good in presentation skill
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Office program, and relate programs
- Proficiencies in SAP, Power BI, and data visualization is a plus
- Energetic, working under dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor degree of Electrical or Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering field
- Experience in engineering construction, maintenance and/or utility management
- 1-2 years of experience in leadership role or team management is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in digitalization is preferred
- Experience in Boiler, Chiller and Wastewater treatment management is a must
- Experience in process improvement related to digitalization is a plus
- Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, processes, and technology of FMCG manufacturing
