JOB PURPOSE

As Marketing Lead for Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing, you are the catalyst for competitiveness, execution, and social first brand strategies. You inspire and empower a team of Brand Managers to transform 1UL EU strategies into locally resonant brand experiences. Your leadership is rooted in agile principles—fostering collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. Beyond guiding the team, you have direct operational responsibility for high impact campaigns: ensuring that strategic vision is matched by disciplined execution, operational rigor, and measurable results. You champion both the “what” and the “how,” driving your team to deliver outstanding brand performance within B&PC while actively engaging in the processes that make success possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead & Inspire the Brand Manager Team

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to Brand Managers, fostering a high-performing, engaged, and agile team culture.

  • Champion agile principles, enabling the team to adapt quickly, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver prioritized activities OTIF.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead key business cases and serve as end-to-end project manager for major category launches and initiatives.

  • Maintain oversight of launch tracker and ensure flawless delivery of projects OTIF.

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Translate global and European strategies into actionable, locally resonant marketing plans for Personal Care and Beauty & Wellbeing.

  • Oversee the development and execution of 360° marketing plans, integrating digital, social, traditional, experiential, and PR strategies.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure operational discipline across the team, including budget management, vendor payments, and process optimization.

  • Monitor and report on brand and category performance, leveraging data and insights to drive continuous improvement.

Portfolio & Innovation Leadership

  • Co-own long-term portfolio planning with VET and other stakeholders, championing local innovation and market-making initiatives.

  • Support the team in identifying and nurturing local partnerships and delivering impactful, socially driven activations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead collaboration with commercial, planning, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless execution of the brand agenda.

  • Represent the team in key business forums and drive alignment with broader business objectives.

Talent Development & Community Building

  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, feedback, and targeted development plans.

  • Foster a strong brand community and ensure local language and cultural relevance in all category initiatives.
