The Scratch Finance Manger will play a key role in growing a Cooking Aids and Mini-Meals (CA&MM) business towards a $1B ambition. The role partners with the CMO of Knorr and the US Category Strategy VP to provide financial leadership across the P&L, lead the cross-functional team through performance management, develop operating plans, build innovation cases, and evaluate investment opportunities.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Provide financial counsel to Marketing Lead and x-functional team, taking a holistic view of plans and performance, and advising on action plans to meet financial objectives.
Business partner with marketing, sales and supply chain to align on a monthly forecast.
Financial lead for all business plans and updates, evaluating alternatives, challenging assumptions, and ensuring plans are aligned with brand and category strategy.
Utilize best practice tools to evaluate business performance, quantify business risk/opportunity profile, and contribute to the development of plans to exploit opportunities or close gaps (Zero based budgeting, demand unit/SKU productivity, Pricing, Promotional Packs, Brand led Cost savings).
Ensure Marketing budgets are appropriately maintained.
Manage and develop one direct report.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Bachelors degree required.
7-10 years of relevant finance and business experience required.
Experience in 1 – 3 core finance areas (Brand, Supply Chain, Customer & Channel Development, Planning & Analysis, Controllers) preferred.
Performance Reporting & Business Planning
Decision support and Ad hoc evaluation
Internal controls & Project Management
Required Competencies: Strategic Influencing, Organizational Awareness, Passion for Growth and Team Commitment.
