WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees in compliance and in internal policies,
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Global Mobility, Shares and other departments,
- Providing clear payroll financial closing on SAP,
- Provide to calculate accurate HR accruals (bonus, sales incentives and annual leaves),
- Ensuring compliance with Unilever SOX control frameworks,
- Adapting the payroll system and way of working process with updated legal regulations,
- Ensures that the payroll systems, processes, policies and tools are compliant with Unilever's internal-process standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Having knowledge of Labor Law 4857 and 5746, 5510 SSI regulation, income tax law and all labor legislation
- Ensuring interpretation and application of Collective Labor Contracts in accordance with contracts and laws
- Monitoring compensation and benefits connected to the Collective Labor Contract, on a monthly basis and making the payments
- To ensure that additional payroll processes including payroll differences related to salaries and social rights are carried out correctly after the establishment of the Collective Labor Agreement,
- Developing local Standard Operating Procedure
- To monitor and develop the Time Management / Time and Attendance System and Payroll System (IT),
- Control of Social Security summary declaration notifications (1003B Summary Declaration Notifications),
- On the personnel affairs side, to ensure that employee personnel files are stored in accordance with the law.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll operations especially in Türkiye operations.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders and payroll vendors.
- In-depth understanding of SOX controls and compliance requirements.
