We are now looking for a CHANNEL MARKETING MANGER for Unilever Food Solutions

GENERAL DESCRIPTION – MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a marketing manager with passion for food, craving to understand and respond to operator’s needs, the role will be responsible for crafting marketing strategy and putting into action for the Finnish market. The scope covers everything from strategic long running initiatives such as reshaping portfolio architecture, building long term digital strategy, trade activation planning to everyday tasks such as implementing digital campaigns, preparing trade fairs and securing selling tools for our CD teams. The main tasks will be to drive the operator journey of our key customers. UFS is on a journey of transforming the business to a more digitally driven one, therefore digital skills and experience from digital demand creation are of essence. The role’s area of expertise and responsibility will very much be in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and food service. This role will be working alongside the Country Manager, Chefs and the Customer Development team. This role will be part of the Country Leadership Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute Business Led Initiatives

  • Co-create and deliver annual plans for Finland with direct contribution towards portfolio architecture (incl. 6P) & communication strategy (both offline and online)
  • Responsible for creating and executing business initiatives to be implemented with each selected Operator group in line with business objectives.
  • In collaboration with the Nordic Marketing team and Marketing Agencies, create the commercial toolkits for each initiative, and drive awareness to educate our local customer development on each initiative. Best in class content delivery with constant search for best formats (ie. video), tools and synergies between countries (if possible, in Nordics)
  • Support the Key Account Managers in preparing the regular Business Reviews with customers and participate in Customer meetings as required.
  • Plan, create and execute Digital campaigns via social media, UFS website, newsletters, trade web shop and other media.
  • Build and execute culinary driven campaigns together with Chefs team to provide inspirational solutions for Independent, Chain and Social customers.

Channel Strategy and Business Planning

  • Understand and use Channel insights to develop activities to drive UFS strategy and bring value to Operators Customers.
  • In association with marketing colleagues, understand which concepts could be developed to meet the customer’s needs and target operator groups, developing these into country level activations.

Customer Investment & Agreements

  • Prepare, agree, and execute tailored investment plans based on customer marketing agreements.
  • Support CD in marketing investment negotiations with customers.

  • Turnover
  • Top 10 Product Performance per focus operator group (T/O and penetration)
  • Key Operator Groups KPI such as T/O, penetration
  • Project management: Yearly plan on key projects and follow-up on those for the whole organization · # Leads generated; Performance marketing: CPA & CPV optimisation; SEO and web traffic – both internally as well as with external media agencies

KEY SKILLS (INCL. LANGUAGE)

  • Marketing professional, preferably with B2B experience
  • Experience in Marketing (3y+) and Digital Marketing (2y+)
  • Business acumen and operator centric mindset
  • Have a creative mindset and marketing strategy experience.
  • Ability to drive changes and influence others
  • Team Player
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written Finnish and English
  • Food service experience is a significant advantage.
