JOB PURPOSE
Finance Business Partnering (FBP) at Unilever is a highly dynamic and exciting role. As the owner of your Category’s P&L, you are responsible for supporting the business with a CFO mindset. The role typically includes supporting the business in defining the right strategies, managing business cases to support new launch decisions, monthly forecast updates and performance analysis, and more. The goal is always to advise and support your business partners to deliver consistent, competitive, profitable, and responsible growth, in the short and long run.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
A. Drive Financial Performance of the Category
Accountable for the P&L Numbers, Movements, and Gaps in Targets
Provides support in financial simulations like Pricing, Sourcing, Savings, Promo Investment, Innovations
Deep-dive Risks and Opportunities in Growth and Costs
Ensure the accuracy of Financial Reports and Drive controls.
B. Provide Decision Support and Timely Analysis on High-Value Business Priorities.
New Business Models
Annual and Long-Term Business Planning
Major Investment and Business Decisions (including Capex)
Competitive Analysis
C. Supporting stakeholders on driving business performance interventions:
Growth Spotting
Profitability Improvement and Fuel for Growth
Promotions and Pricing Opportunities
Net Revenue Management
D. Prepare Financial presentations and submissions for Global Teams
Monthly Forecast Submissions
Category Strategy Updates
E. Build a deep understanding of Brands and Channels
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor/master’s degree, in a related field (e.g., Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting/etc.) and / or finance certifications.
5 years of relevant experience preferred (e.g., FMCG/Finance Partnering/Auditing/etc.)
Responsible, accountable, and cautiousness in ensuring accuracy.
Analytical skills and sound logic.
Business-minded, with good financial understanding.
Agility, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
