JOB PURPOSE

The role will report to the Personal Care Category Strategy Senior Manager and will support the Marketing Operations and Big Bold Move workstreams across Personal Care. This is a high visibility role working hand in hand with senior stakeholders, working with the category leadership team and enabling an unrivalled opportunity for exposure to the business.

Key impact Areas
• Drive Performance Excellence through advanced analytics and optimisation, directly influencing strategic decisions and their outcome for the PC portfolio.
• Partner with senior leadership on critical initiatives, gaining exposure to top level decision making.
• Pioneer Growth Strategies by supporting the development of the strategies that reshape and unlock innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will support the Marketing Operations team by:
• Supporting the development and implementation of marketing operations strategies under guidance from senior team members
• Assisting with innovation process, business planning and governance (Investor Boards, Innoflex, IBP).
• Supporting the identification and development of the strategy and Big Bold Moves (biggest areas for growth and innovation for PC brands) and their integration in the business.
• Supporting optimization of marketing processes, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Assisting with monitoring and analysis of marketing performance metrics to support insights generation
• Researching latest trends and best practices in marketing operations and FMCG industry
• Supporting the PC Chief of Strategy & Staff team with various operational tasks

• Experience in marketing, strategy, operations, finance or related strategic field
• Strong analytical foundation with ability to translate data into strategic insights
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence at all levels
• Passion for driving transformational change and long-term value creation
• Advanced proficiency in strategic analysis tools (PowerPoint, Excel, data visualization)
• Adaptability to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously
• Genuine enthusiasm for innovation and emerging market trends

Location

In June 2020 we announced our plan to consolidate a number of Unilever’s offices across the South East of England into a new Unilever campus in Kingston-upon-Thames in or around early 2025. However, on the 08 August 2024 we announced to our existing staff our proposal to retain our central Head Office in London, 100 Victoria Embankment (“100VE”) until our lease expires in 2027. As a result of this new proposal, we will be consulting with our existing staff, and new joiners who join during this period of consultation at 100VE, on the proposal made in August 2024. During consultation we will clarify the future location of each team and function. This means your role will either be based in 100VE until 2027 or in Kingston-Upon-Thames from early 2025. As we are yet to commence consultation on the proposal you agree, until such a time when consultation has concluded, your normal place of work as set out in the enclosed Statement of Terms & Conditions will be 100VE. You agree that on the conclusion of the consultation your place of work will be 100VE or 100VE until early 2025 and then Kingston-upon-Thames ("the locations") and you will be notified of which of the locations will be your place of work after that consultation ends.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money.In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
