JOB PURPOSE

If you are passionate on executing accurate, timely and compliant payroll process for over 1000 employees, across multiple markets and ensuring payroll performance consistently meets defined quality standards while meeting all statutory requirements, then this role is just for you!
What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Payroll Processing:
Manage the full end to end delivery of payroll on defined monthly metric target SLAs in market of responsibility:
- Collecting required payroll inputs including timesheet data, calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions based.
- Load transactional data for payroll processing in line with the payroll calendar
- Review and approve final payroll results prior to payment
- Ensure final checks, governance controls and validations are executed
- Process bank transfers and followup approvals and bank processing
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations and payroll control files as per schedules to demonstrate accuracy and completeness of processed values
- Calculating and settling final dues (end of service, vacation balance) according to regulations.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Adhering to labor laws, social insurance laws, and tax regulations by preparing, submitting and processing payments of statutory reports (social insurance, tax).
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and tax reporting requirements
- Data Management:Ensure accurate reflection of employee master data into payroll system of new hires, terminations, and changes.
- Reconciliation:Performing account balance checks and reconciling payroll data.
- Collaboration:Working with HR, Reward, Finance, Treasury and Auditors to ensure seamless data flow and regular reporting.
- Inquiry Resolution:Addressing employee questions about pay, deductions, and benefits with accuracy
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance both payroll system and processes, focusing on global standards, productivity and cost efficiency.
Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Minimum:
- Minimum of 3 years proven work experience in payroll processing and HRIS /Finance integrations
- Strong knowledge of pensions and statutory matters (tax and social security)
- Working knowledge of HRIS and financial systems – Workday and SAP
- Expert knowledge of MS Office applications
- Outstanding organizational and data analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues and errors
- Ability to work across various areas of the organization to ensure proper stakeholder alignment as needed
- Must be able to work independently, accurate while delivering consistent high quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Good administrative, negotiation and influencing skills
Preferred:
- Experience managing payroll for multi-site or mixed workforce population
