JOB OVERVIEW

The Ice Cream PhilippinesMarketing Leadwill be part of the Selecta Executive Committee (ExCom), directly reporting to the Ice Cream Philippines General Manager. They will be supported by a team of 10: two Business Managers, seven Brand Managers/Asst. Brand Managers, and a Media Manager.

They will be in charge of developing the category strategy and oversee all innovations, renovations, campaign development and deployment for brands like Selecta, Cornetto, and Magnum; working with internal cross-functional teams as well as external agencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Management

  • End-to-end P&L management including topline sales delivery, gross margin improvement projects, and brand & marketing investments management to deliver bottomline profits.

  • Co-lead Annual Business Plan and Monthly S&OP cycles (Activity & Demand Review, Local Sales & Operations Meeting) including sales analysis and spotting of issues and opportunities.

Category Strategy

  • Co-develop the Ice Cream Category Strategy with the IC PH CSP Team, localizing the Category Growth Story, valuating the Category Growth Drivers, and coming up with the 8-Quarter Plan.

Brand Marketing Plan (Design & Deploy)

  • New Brand Launches(as necessary)

  • Flavor/Pack Innovation/ Renovation within existing brands

  • Campaign development and deployment

Team and People Development

  • Ensure company culture and values are upheld within the team

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships

  • Inspire, energize, and develop their team

  • Improve processes and ways of working, as necessary

KEY SUCCESS METRICS

  • Financial Metrics: Underlying Sales Growth (USG) and Underlying Operating Profit (UOP) Growth

  • Brand Power & Market Share Growth

  • Innovation Delivery to Business Cases

KEY INTERFACES

  • Internal Cross-Functional Project Team (including R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Business Development, Media, Consumer & Market Insight, Customer Strategy & Planning)

  • Internal Regional Brand Teams

  • Internal ExCom/Leadership Team

  • Creative, Media, and PR/Influencer Agencies

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Brand Management 

  • Business or Category Planning

  • Consumer and Customer Understanding

  • Project Management and Problem Solving

  • Good with Numbers (Sales Analytics, Business Cases, etc.)

  • Communication & Presentation Skills

  • Leading Teams and Managing Stakeholders
