Job Title: Sr Supply Planning Executive – Pondicherry Factory
Location: Pondicherry, India
Function: Supply Chain – Make
Job Purpose:
To ensure effective supply planning and inventory management for the Pondicherry factory, aligning production schedules with demand forecasts, optimizing stock levels, and supporting seamless operations across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets.
Collaborate with factory teams, procurement, and central planning to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams for efficient material movement and storage.
Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes with accurate supply inputs.
Ensure compliance with HUL’s safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in supply planning or factory operations, preferably in FMCG.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in SAP/APO or other planning tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
