JOB PURPOSE

The Brazilian tax reform represents a significant and unprecedented change in the country's landscape, profoundly impacting how businesses operate. The Tax Reform project will focus on preparing the organization to navigate the change, adapting processes and systems, while designing the overall transformation strategy, in collaboration with functions and BUs.

As the finance coordinator for the tax reform project, you will evaluate the financial impact of the tax reform on different business units, ensuring compliance with the new tax framework, and preparing processes and systems for the transition. You will support the organization in adapting to the new tax regulations and managing restructuring funds efficiently. Additionally, you will assist Business Units in deploying the transformation strategy and provide crucial financial guidance throughout the process.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the transformation, providing crucial financial guidance and ensuring that Unilever navigates these changes effectively. If you are passionate about finance and ready to take on this challenge, we would love to hear from you!

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Support the implementation of the Tax Reform transformation strategy roadmap in collaboration with multifunctional teams (BUs and Functions) from a financial perspective.
  • Develop financial models to assess the impacts of the tax reform on the organization, ensuring all impacts are considered in short and long-term financial planning, and coordinate discussions and decision-making with all BUs and national teams.
  • Coordinate the Tax Reform Finance workstream, focusing on reviewing and adapting key finance processes impacted by the tax reform, including Treasury, P2P, financial planning and reporting, Cash, Working Capital, and Accounting, while coordinating with all finance teams.
  • Report project outcomes and risks to Unilever leadership and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Support the implementation of processes and system changes in coordination with various functions and Business Units.
  • Connect with external consultancy for each project workstream, including TMO (Transformation Management Office) and change management.
  • Manage and track the restructuring funds (CAPEX and RDI) related to the Tax Reform Business Case, including monthly monitoring and reporting.
  • Support all project workstreams from a financial perspective, including Customer and Revenue Management, Supply Chain Transformation Strategy, Technology and Processes, and Compliance and Governance.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan for Split Payment to adapt operational and financial processes, identifying and raising potential impacts, and proposing effective solutions to address these changes.
