If you are in the Magnum Ice Cream Company, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, and Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for the implementation of relevant sourcing strategies for Raw Materials & Ingredients for Latam defining preferred suppliers list, managing defined partnerships for value and growth, as well as defining and implementing
resilience actions for each market. This role will create supplier network that aligns with the overall business objectives for IC BU and in line with the overall global Sourcing Strategy.
Role would require the candidate to be well versed with use of cost model and its analysis. Use of digital tools and reports to enhance negotiations, opportunity identification. Lead and land portfolio savings. Engage closely with internal stakeholder to deliver business needs through strong network of suppliers.
The role is responsible for price forecasting, best in class contracting and negotiations, benchmarking, supplier scanning and support driving quality and service.
The role will involve driving sustainability agenda with clear cost glidepaths, delivering purpose in alignment with IC BG business priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of sourcing strategy, implementation through contracting and negotiations;
Delivery of Financial KPI’s: NMI, cash;
Sustainability Sourcing related targets;
Resilience program development and implementation;
Complexity reduction;
Supplier Relationship Management;
Efficient, timely and transparent communication to internal customers; Effective supplier communications and engagement in key programs;
New supplier Development;
Support BU’s in Operations and Supplier’s service level;
Material price Forecasting;
In addition to the buyer role, this person might be required to support the Procurement markets team.
Support the implementation of the global strategy, ensuring alignment with global goals and priorities.
Lead Global Negotiations, looking for global synergies with other portfolios to enhance opportunities.
Manage and execute projects across the region, driving innovation, sustainability, and process optimization (5S) initiatives.
Collaborate with global stakeholders managers to ensure consistency and synergy across regional programs.
Identify and apply best practices in for sustainable solutions, enhancing efficiency and business impact.
Support the technical and professional development of the team, fostering continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Strengthen connections with other teams, sharing knowledge, innovations, and improvement opportunities.
Partner with global and local functions, including R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Suppliers, to ensure efficient project execution.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCEED:
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIOS
University degree
Native or advanced portuguese
Advanced Spanish
Intermediate English
Proven Experience in previous Procurement positions
Experience with cost models
Supply market and FMCG (consumer goods companies) or food or beverage companies knowledge is preferred
SKILLS
Negotiation & communications skills
Digital and analytics knowledge
Financial acumen for business cases and reporting
Good buying, negotiation and contracting skills
Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities to work in virtual global team.
