Manufacturing Lead

Location: Sikeston, MO

Pay Rate $30.30 Per Hour – Paid Bi-Weekly

Shift: 12-Hour, Overnights

Schedule: 2/2/3 Rotation

Background & Purpose of the Job: To bring joy and excitement to consumers by providing the highest quality Ice Cream through inspired innovation while reacting to market changes quickly.   Under the direction of the manufacturing supervisor, this position is responsible for actions necessary in achieving manufacturing KPI’s. This position primarily will support actions taken daily by plant leadership on manufacturing requirements; Quality KPI’s, safety processes, micro risk mitigation, material management, AM development, focused improvement project actions, and line personnel training via SOP’s and training documentation.

What You’ll Do:

• Implement safety processes as needed such as training, observations, and risk identification.
• Completing actions with employees to reduce MV losses within the department.
• Contribute to loss tree development and FI projects and development and maintenance of CI changeover processes.
• Ensure CIP, cleaning programs and chemical usages are trained and followed.
• Implement start-up and shutdown processes to improve efficiencies.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Ability to understand documentation in the manufacturing process.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within multiple departments, and the corresponding leaders for those departments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain PMC, Freezer, Filler, Tunnel and PMI processes.
• Ability to life, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
