With 3.4 billion people in over 190 countries using our products every day, Unilever is a business that makes a real impact on the world. Work on brands that are loved and improve the lives of our consumers and the communities around us. We are driven by our purpose: to make sustainable living commonplace, and it is our belief that doing business the right way drives superior performance. At the heart of what we do is our people – we believe that when our people work with purpose, we will create a better business and a better world.

Within home care we have an extensive family of exciting brands including Via, Comfort, CIF, Domestos. Clean Future is our strategy to tap into a vast segment of consumers who want easy and delightful experiences with products that are sustainable and, importantly, great value.

At Unilever, your career will be a unique journey, grounded in our inclusive, collaborative, and flexible working environment. We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

In this Home Care Nordic role, you will be an integral part in building, developing, and maintaining credible, long term, category lead relationships, internal & external. In addition, you will be the voice of the consumer and shopper in the organization delivering actionable insights that deliver category value creation. You will be the expert and turn insights into actions with best-in-class execution, analysis, and evaluation of category plans, managing the end-to-end critical path, to deliver range reviews with customers providing leading edge Category Management solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize the category growth model to develop category understanding and provide actionable insights with our retail partners and drive incremental growth in the category by tailoring the category growth model to the customers by delivering bespoke customer initiatives using a shopper first lens.
  • Partner closely with agencies and identify appropriate insights and data sources, utilize and understand multiple data sources (Nielsen, Kantar, Euromonitor aso) to generate recommendations for category & range reviews.
  • Bringing the shopper & consumer insight internally and externally for the delivery of new innovations, Joint Business Plan building, and price positioning. Understanding how the shopper is shopping the category, identifying opportunities to put Unilever products outside of the main fixture.
  • Monitoring implementation and review of range recommendations enabling SKU optimization and optimum product mix. Coordinating the process of launching new products to customers by adapting trade stories and trade presentations to local conditions and needs and delivering key category/customer reporting and ad hoc analysis as required.

The ideal candidate is positive, self-going and proactive. You should be able to structure your work and to work with several different tasks and processes simultaneously.

You have strong communication skills as you need to be able to express analytics to various levels in the organization; as well as the ability to deliver presentations and training. You also must be able to effectively interact with peers, sales management, and senior management to build sustainable, positive relationships with people on all levels in an organization, both internally and externally. Skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is key.

Please note that fluency in English and one local Nordic language is needed for this role.
