Role Title: Channel Distributor Manager (GenSan)
Location: General Santos City - Field Based
Overview:
As the Channel Distributor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and ensuring effective distribution across General Santos City. You’ll collaborate closely with distributors, channel partners, and internal teams to achieve sales targets and enhance market presence.
Responsibilities:
1 Distributor Management:
- Oversee distributor operations and ensure effective coverage of channels within General Santos City.
- Develop strong relationships with distributors, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Monitor distributor performance metrics, including sales volume, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
2 Channel Development:
- Identify growth opportunities within the region by analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with channel partners (wholesalers, retailers, and sub-distributors) to expand market reach.
- Implement channel-specific strategies to optimize product placement and visibility.
3 Sales and Distribution:
- Set ambitious sales targets for the region and work closely with the sales team to achieve them.
- Ensure timely and accurate product distribution to meet customer demand.
- Monitor stock levels, replenishment cycles, and product availability.
4 Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Conduct regular market visits to gather insights and identify potential gaps or opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
5 Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of channel sales representatives and coordinators.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
6 Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Participate in regional and national meetings to share best practices and contribute to overall company success.
Qualifications:
- With 2 to 3 years experience in Account Management handling distributors or general trade
- Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong operational skills
- Analytical thinking, passion for high performance, bias for action
- Can drive and work on a field based role within General Santos City and nearby provinces.
