JOB PURPOSE:

The Treasury and Tax Assistant Manager is a critical role that ensures the company’s financial stability and compliance by managing treasury operations and tax obligations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management, develop innovative financial strategies, and contribute to the company’s growth. If you are passionate about finance, detail-oriented, and eager to make a significant impact, this role is perfect for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Treasury Management: Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash flow management.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports on treasury and tax activities.

Risk Management:Identify and mitigate financial risks related to treasury and tax functions.

Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance.

Audit Support:Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Process Improvement: Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures for treasury and tax operations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Several years of experience in treasury or tax management, preferably in a corporate setting.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with financial systems and technology, including SAP and Excel.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information.

Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As publicly announced, it is envisaged that Unilever will internally separate its Ice Cream business by July 2025, at which point this role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company. It is expected that the Ice Cream business will then separate from Unilever by the end of 2025. Any impact on terms and conditions of employment will be communicated in due course. This proposal is subject to consultation where legally required.
