JOB PURPOSE:
Ice Cream ID Payroll SME is a critical role that build effective and efficient payroll process by optimizing technology, system and automation. We aim to build agile and automatic payroll process by minimizing manual process and improved payment accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vendor Management:
Manage deployment process to our global payroll vendor, including data integration, system testing, project management to ensure smooth transition without any major issues on employee payroll
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll vendor(s) regarding operational queries, escalations, and service delivery.
Coordinate regular governance meetings and issue resolutions.
Payroll Operations:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing activities for assigned countries/entities.
Validate payroll outputs, including gross-to-net calculations, statutory deductions, and final reports.
Ensure timely submission of payroll data and approvals
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure payroll processes comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements, SOX control
Support wage tax audits, and statutory reporting in collaboration with vendor
Review current local benefit and allowances applicable for employee and propose adjustment to simplify the payment process without reducing employee entitlement and improved simplification of payroll process.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure payroll accuracy and alignment with organizational policies.
Collaborate with HR Ops team to build and optimize HR Local System to proceed local benefit and integrate with payroll system to minimize manual calculation process and improved payment accuracy.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Support system upgrades, automation initiatives, and change management.
Integrate and automate time attendance system with payroll system to minimize manual calculation process for overtime and benefit payment that related with employee attendance (ex: meal, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Math, Statistic, Engineering or other major that relates with processing many data
Experience: min 3-5 years of experience in payroll or reward
English speaking is a must
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Technical Proficiency: understanding on local benefit regulations such as social security, tax, etc.
Analytical Skills: able to had deep analysis and calculations
Numerical Proficiency: Comfortable working with numbers, calculations, and financial data.
Proficiency in Payroll Software (e.g., Ms. Excel, HRIS, etc.)
Adaptability: Comfortable with changes in regulations, systems, or company policies.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As publicly announced, it is envisaged that Unilever will internally separate its Ice Cream business by July 2025, at which point this role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company. It is expected that the Ice Cream business will then separate from Unilever by the end of 2025. Any impact on terms and conditions of employment will be communicated in due course. This proposal is subject to consultation where legally required.
