Global Business Services Project Manager

The GBS organization will partnerkey business functions including Finance, Enterprise Solutions and Information Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Marketing, Customer Development and Sales, and Sustainability. A significant proportion of GBS roles will be based in our Global Hub in Pune, India, with supporting spokes to be established in the Americas and Europe. 

JOB PURPOSE:

In this role, you will be responsible formanaging critical projects and activities throughout the define, design, and implementation phases of establishing a new greenfield GBS organization in Magnum Ice Cream and the TSA and/or process transfer from Unilever to Magnum Ice Cream. 

You will be tasked with creating detailed project plans, transition roadmaps and plans, mapping interdependencies, conducting risk managementworkshops and driving mitigation plans, providing sharp and timely updates to leadershipand stakeholders and governance forums, and meeting the overall project deliverables on time at right cost.

You will work with a series of stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies and will be responsible forbuilding strong relationships to enable you to effectively manage, challenge and influenceyour stakeholders to complete necessary actions related to the project activation. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating detailed project plans including scoping, resourcing and timelines, with key milestones and decision moments. 

• Creating scope intake and transition roadmap and plans.

• Map interdependencies within projects, both inside and outside of the GBS organization, working with multiple workstream leads in such as, but not  limited to, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Marketing and Customer Development. 

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of projects, including integrated risk management and mitigation. 

• Support the establishment of a GBS project governance framework to adequate gate keeping, decision making and escalation routes are mapped. 

• Provide updates to leadership and other stakeholders on project progress. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

Experience 

• Must have: 

• 5+ years project management experience within a GBS environment

• Experience working within an international context 

• Solid experience in process intake and/or transition process

• Advantage:

• Experience in business process,IT, Enterprise Solutions and Business Architecture Design 

• Experience in supported to establisha new organization

Competencies 

• Exceptional ability to manage complexity; including competing priorities, risk management, and interdependency management

• Experience creating detailed project plans, preferably within a PPM tool e.g. Microsoft Project

• Demonstrated leadership skills; able tomotivate and lead teams not directly within your line management control 

• Highly analytical and structuredcustomer centric behavior; excellence eye for detail, hands-on mentality, and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines 

Qualifications

• Relevant BachelorDegree and relevant experience 

• Advanced Lean Practitioneror alternative PMP certification (or equivalent experience) 

• Fluent in English language, additional languages are a plus
