JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  you will be part of the team that designs and implements the company’s strategy for the Food Service channel, leading the portfolio development of Unilever Food Solutions for the Knorr and Maizena brands.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Category management

  • Development of the innovation funnel for the Knorr and Maizena brands. Continuous improvement of the existing portfolio, with a special focus on the core business.

  • Understanding the needs of chefs across different profiles (restaurants, hotels, canteens…), including internal and external analysis, competitive mapping, and tracking of evolving channel trends.

  • Active participation in defining the category strategy and the different levers of the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, advertising, and communication) for the assigned brands.

  • Generating insights and value propositions for the assigned categories.

  • Interaction and coordination with the global innovation team.

  • Collaboration with operator marketing, trade marketing, digital, and e-commerce departments in executing the category strategy across relevant channels.

  • Development of sales tools for the sales force: Sales pitches, Trade Stories, among others.

  • Client project presentations.

  • Budget management for your brand/category.

  • Monitoring and controlling channel KPIs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Marketing department.

  • Knowledge of innovation processes, portfolio development, and project management.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and project follow-up skills.

  • High level of English is essential.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, passion, and eagerness to work in a multinational team environment.

  • Desirable: Experience in B2B environments.

  • Highly valued: Passion for gastronomy. Knowledge of the food service channel.
