Job Purpose:
Lead a team that creates value across all Marketing Hub delivered and connected activities by governing the performance and relationships behind GMS Operations in the markets/BUs whilst driving to a global “To Be” operational model blueprint. This role will focus on ensuring end to end process delivery and transformation, enabled by key technologies, across this ecosystem to create value through better business outcomes for Marketing delivered more efficiently and effectively.
Key Accountabilities of the role include:
Shaping operational relationships with BUs & 1U countries within the framework of the global BG and GBS Strategies - ensuring the creation, maintenance and future development of required operational capabilities, releasing Marketers capacity and redefining and industrialising how Unilever work with key partners.
The role will be accountable for the ongoing optimising of GMS Operations delivered with our Partners to markets/BUs. This will require a rigorous focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement and transformation.
Key Responsibilities (Expected Work)
Assuring excellence in Service Delivery to the countries/BUs
Managing end to end performance metrics and scorecards for all countries from within the team across user experiences, cost, cash and turnover
Managing commercial and contractual relationships with the partner
Ensuring Control frameworks are rigorously adhered to across the whole system (and operationally improved)
Supporting in-market teams on managing and escalating disputes, performance issues and customer related claims (internal and external)
Driving step-change transformation with the Partner network
Being an active member within the GMS organisation and network to ensure that the appropriate designs (process, tech/data & org) are enhanced to deliver increased value
As transformation programmes are delivered for and by BG’s/BU’s/GBS, ensure the network is able to activate new capabilities
Leading a regional Performance Delivery Team, ensuring they have the mindset and capability to deliver high performance outcomes

Team leadership experience

Successful history of Business Partnering within or to a Country/Function.
Demonstrable capabilities in creating and managing strong senior relationships, including excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills
Complex project management experience
Experience of managing financial and business process controls
