JOB PURPOSE
As Associate Performance Lead, you will drive full-funnel performance across Amazon for Nexxus and Tresemme, optimizing media, content, and portfolio strategy to deliver measurable growth. You operate within the Media & Retailer Marketing team, enabling Unilever’s transformation toward performance-led, consumer-centric retail marketing.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

You are a performance-driven marketer with a sharp analytical mindset and a passion for unlocking growth and driving results through media, content, and data. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and bring a general manager mentality to your work—balancing growth with profitability. You’re fluent in Excel, the broader Microsoft 365 suite, and retail media platforms, and you know how to turn data into insights that drive action. You’re energized by the challenge of driving brand and category performance in a dynamic retail ecosystem like Amazon.

  • Drive Full-Funnel Performance
    You will lead the performance agenda for Nexxus and Tresemme on Amazon, managing media, content, and portfolio levers to deliver against KPIs like ROAS, margin, and share growth. You use Excel and other tools to analyze data, identify trends, and inform strategy, optimizing execution across the consumer journey.
  • Lead Retail Media Activation
    You own the planning, activation and optimization of Amazon Ads across search, display, and audience targeting. You ensure media investments are efficient, effective, and aligned to business goals—always balancing spend with return.
  • Enable Portfolio Growth
    You collaborate with the brand, finance and sales teams to bring innovation to life, expand core assortment and optimize for profitability and consumer relevance.
  • Optimize the Digital Shelf
    You enhance brand presence and conversion through content excellence, site merchandising, and promotional strategy—leveraging tools and analytics to continuously improve performance.
  • Operate as a Business Owner
    You manage budgets, analyze POS and media data, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results. You apply operational rigor and strategic thinking to make smart, data-backed decisions.
  • Champion Competitiveness
    You monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to ensure Unilever’s Hair Care brands are set up to win. You lead deep dives and translate insights into action plans that drive growth.
  • Collaborate & Influence
    You work across brand, category, media, and customer teams (Culture Squads) to align strategies and unlock synergies. You’re a subject matter expert who knows the right questions to ask and the right levers to pull.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years in Brand Marketing, Digital, or eCommerce.
  • Proven expertise in Amazon Ads and retail media platforms.
  • Experience with tools like Circana and Numerator.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint) and comfort working with datasets
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
