Title: Digital & Technology Business Enablement - Associate Director, North America

This role drives prioritization, enablement, deployment, and use of critical products/services within the North America region, with a strong emphasis on business partnering with Customer Development (Sales) and Finance.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to these functions, aligning their business goals with digital solutions that drive Unilever’s growth. Collaborating with Global Product teams, you will ensure solutions are tailored to the North American market and deliver value across all Business Units—Foods, Personal Care, Beauty & Wellness, and Home Care.

You will ensure multiple teams and stakeholders come together to understand, prioritize, build, deploy, and see benefits from critical technology. More than just landing technology, you ensure that critical requirements are accounted for early in the scoping process. 

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Understand the technology (digital product) needs for Customer Development and Finance in North America through deeply understanding their objectives and daily operations 

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to gather input, set priorities, and communicate progress.

  • Represent North American needs in global product planning, ensuring local requirements are addressed and integrated into global solutions.  Work with global product or third party vendors to build products. 

  • Manage technology vendor relationships if needed

  • Define scope, goals, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

  •  Advocate for user-centric design and continuous improvement to maximize business value and ensure successful change management.

  • Oversee requirements gathering and validation, including local data, system, and cross-product integration.

  • Ensure digital products are adopted by internal users and deliver value

You are

  • Someone who drives projects forward - you keep people organized and on track

  • A business-minded technologist or a technology-minded business person

  • Interested in the FMCG space

  • A team player

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • Experience in management consulting, product management, or technology deployment

  • Digital expertise – experience with digital (Data, AI, tech) projects / products / programs.  Experience with analytics/insight products

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Execution excellence. Program / plan management to ensure delivery of outcomes 

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. High EQ

  • Experience with system architecture and data foundations

  • Track record of developing exceptional talent and teams within this domain

Nice to have

  • Masters degree in business, computer science, math or related field

  • Experience in FMCG, CPG, retail, or supply chain

  • Knowledge of agile

Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
